Research associate in the department of “Phytopathology” as part of the BMBF-funded project "OptiLyso - Optimization of the production and application of Lysobacter enzymogenes against phytopathogenic fungi".

• Developing methods for the use of  L. enzymogenes as amicrobial plant protection agent against downy mildew on cucumbers, late blight on potatoes, late blight and brown rot on tomatoes, apple scab on apples
• Characterization and improvements of UV stability and weather resistance of L. enzymogenes by addition of additives, adhesives and wetting agents
• Investigation of optimal application, effect and compatibility of the compound with established plant protection products
• Analysis of the mode of action of L. enzymogenes
