After the expiration of the Agricultural Investment Program (IuZ) of the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank on December 31, 2024, machines and equipment for the application of plant protection products will once again be eligible for funding under the current Agricultural Investment Support Program (AFP) for the funding period from 2023 to 2027.A prerequisite for the funding of plant protection equipment is certification or ENTAM testing of the equipment by the Julius Kühn Institute. All eligible equipment is listed by JKI in the “Funding List for Investment Support.”The funding list is updated as neededby JKI. It may be supplemented with newly tested equipment in the future, but equipment may also be removed from the list. Equipment certified by the Julius Kühn Institute is only listed for the duration of the certification period (5 years). For ENTAM-tested equipment, the entry in the descriptive list must not be older than 5 years. The end of funding eligibility can be found in the column "eligible until."The implementation of the AFP program, as part of the Joint Task for the Improvement of Agricultural Structures and Coastal Protection (GAK), is the responsibility of the federal states. The states independently provide information about the available funding opportunities locally.
