Overall objective of the project

The development of strategies and concepts for biodiversity monitoring in agricultural landscapes includes the coordination of the activities of the JKI institutes and the coordination of the content and strategic orientation with the BMEL. The expertise of the JKI institutes on habitat diversity (remote sensing, landscape elements), organism diversity and genetic diversity as well as technology development will be networked, cooperation will be focused on the main topics and the work will be bundled and presented both internally at the JKI and externally. The existing network with external partners (research institutes, state authorities, practice partners - citizen science actors) will be further expanded and the work/exchange will be continuously monitored and coordinated.
