- Temporary head of the specialist area “Epidemiology/Vectors in Viticulture” as a replacement for Dr. Anna Markheiser
- Research work on the epidemiology and control of phytoplasmoses and other vector-borne vine diseases ('Flavescence dorée', 'Bois noir')
- Studies on the biology of Auchenorrhyncha as vectors of plant diseases
- MLST analyses to characterize the vector-host plant interaction of alternative vector species and host plants
