• analysis and evaluation of the effects of agricultural practices (e.g. crop rotation, soil tillage, undersown crops) on soil functions and communities
• analysis of earthworm communities (biomass, population density and species composition) and their functions in agroecosystems
• measurements of soil greenhouse gas emissions and water infiltration rates in different agricultural systems
