- Research into diagnostics, epidemiology and control of bacterial quarantine diseases of cultivated plants
- Elaboration and assessment of national and European regulations and standards on diagnostics and the management of bacterial quarantine diseases of cultivated plants.
- Reference functions in the diagnostics of bacterial diseases
- Quality assurance in plant health diagnostics through the implementation of international standards.
